Dear Colleague,
Preparing future school counselors is both a privilege and a responsibility. What we teach in our classrooms eventually finds its way into conversations with students, families, teachers, and school leaders.
Throughout my own work in counselor education, I have valued resources that help bridge the space between what candidates learn and what they will be called upon to do. That same commitment guides the resources here.
I hope you will use them, adapt them, discuss them with your students, and make them your own. Most of all, I hope they help prepare school counselors who are ready to think deeply, act ethically, advocate confidently, and keep students at the center of their work.
Thank you for the work you do preparing those who will serve the next generation of students.
Warmly,
Susan R. Rose, Ph.D.
